Reling wood to touch
The M/S Kalypso sailed for Viking Line between 1990 and 1993 on the Stockholm, Mariehamn and Turku route. Passengers could discover the high quality of the interior design on board and immerse themselves in the feeling of luxury. The interior design of the ship was created by a renowned Finnish designer.
In addition, the ferry ship exuded elegance with its red color. The color originated when the wife and sister of the owner of the shipping company tested their lipsticks on white paper. The lipstick "Mexican Fire" was the most elegant for them and since then many ships of the Viking Line wear exactly this red.
